Manila Is an amazing city, planted in the middle of the Asian country, the Phillippines. While the people of Manila have been influenced alot by other countries. Being colonised by Spain and governed by America. The country maintains a unique and independant vibe. The ethnicity of the city is 94 percent Christian Malay and 6 percent Chinese. The majority of the poulation is fluent in English and Tagalog. The city is divided into two districts, divided by the Pasig river. This majestic city is riddled with stories and character.It is the second most populated city with 1,652,171 people living in a 38.55 square kilometers area according to a 2010 census and 11 million people living in metropolitan manila. This makes Manila the most densely populated city in the world. the city of manilas earliest account was in the 10th century which was found on a inscripted copper plate. Manila was invaded by Brunei's Sultan Bolkiah and had it name changed from a name given my the Chinese Ming dynasty to Maynila. In the 15th century the Spanish conquistadors arrived and the city was rebuilt and was renamed Nuevo Reino de Castilla or simply Manila.Manila is home to many significant venues, institutions and facilities in catogries such as arts, commerce, education, tourism, health, transport and some of the most historical and cultural land marks in the country.
